Recently, one of my good friends found this little video on YouTube. Try it out, though it's a short song... it may be hard than you think. Once you start going though it seems to go really quickly. What can this teach us? Well, it shows us that working out to out favourite music, especially if i has a good beat, is motivating. We want to push on, and we stop thinking so much about what we are really doing, and we focus on the music. Everyone has one or two songs that can push us through just about anything. And before you run out the door to the gym, maybe you might want to make a kick-ass, motivating playlist!

The idea behind Fittitin Fitness is that most people are too busy, or too stressed, or have too many commitments to fit in working out, nutrition and working towards a healthy lifestyle. I know, I was once someone who believed this. Over the past 5-years of my own lifestyle change, I have realised that small changes add up. Like the old saying goes, "watch your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves." We just have to make small changes that are easy and they will add up. Start small, instead of deciding that you are going to run 5k everyday, eat healthily, and quit smoking instantaneously. Decide on something realistic, like eating breakfast everyday. At first it may seem weird, especially if you haven't eaten breakfast from 20 odd years. This is an easy change for your health. Small changes also fuel the fire. You can be proud of the accomplishment and add to your changes slowly. Maybe the following week, you decide to walk to work twice a week. Everything adds up, and if you plan you can make it easy to Fittitin.
